Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Substation department in the US. You will lead a substation engineering team with civil and electrical backgrounds while supporting projects, business development, and company initiatives.

You will manage proposals, design and construction work, ensure quality, mentor staff, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver high‑quality substation solutions for North American clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• 12+ years of experience in the Engineering field preferred.
• PE registration is required.
• Authorized to work permanently in the US.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a substation engineering team across proposals, design and construction phases.
• Provide project oversight, scope management and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines and PM group on large projects.
• Ensure quality and responsiveness to client requirements.
• Oversee substation design activities and review drawings.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff; conduct regular reviews.
