Sargent & Lundy seeks a Substation Engineering Intern to join our Grid team, assisting engineers on projects involving transmission, substation, distribution, renewables, and energy storage systems.

Under senior guidance, you'll expand your engineering knowledge, contribute to calculations and designs, and help prepare procurement specifications while gaining exposure to modern tools and AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/MS with strong engineering focus.
• Coursework in coding, 3D design, AI is a plus.
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of calculations, specs, and designs.
• Support project reporting: track progress and data.
• Help develop power equipment specifications and procurement docs.
