Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group seeks an Editorial Sample Assistant to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of sample inventory and oversee the sample closet. You will handle receiving, packing, lifting heavy trunks, shipments, and liaising with external vendors and brand partners to coordinate arrivals and returns.

You will work closely with styling teams, Product Supervisors, and logistics to ensure accurate tracking, defect reporting, and timely shoots.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required.
• Keen eye for details and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Team player with motivation and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative work across styling, product, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical management of the sample closet and inventory.
• Coordinate arrival schedules and vendor communications for shipments.
• Track sample movement and ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
• Inspect samples for defects and report discrepancies.
• Prepare and stage samples for shoots and organize wardrobe by date/type.
• Process returns to vendors and fulfillment centers with accurate tracking.
• Serve as main point of contact for external vendors and brand partners.
• Support Product Supervisors and Managers on ad hoc projects and studio ops.
