Job summary

StretchLab is seeking an experienced Assistant/Sales Manager to oversee sales and operations at our Richmond studio. This role is predominantly sales (80-90%) with staff leadership and studio operations making up the remainder.

You will drive membership sales, manage retail revenue, and lead a small team of sales staff and Flexologists. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fitness or membership sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with the studio owner.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fitness sales or membership sales experience preferred.
• Confident in generating most sales and coaching staff to sell.
• Ability to work independently and with the studio owner.
• Manage revenue streams from memberships to retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the phone and via email.
• Adaptable to a fast-changing, diverse environment.
• Attention to detail; professional, punctual and reliable.
• Affinity for fitness and solid writing/grammar skills.
• Strong data management and deadline prioritization.
• Proficient with computers and Studio software.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing and networking.
• Active outreach via calls, texts, emails and prospecting.
• Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development.
• Coordinate with vendors; ensure inventory accuracy in retail.
• Train and supervise Sales Representatives and Flexologists.
• Utilize ClubReady CRM reports for payroll/timekeeping.
• Make high-level CS decisions independently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of StretchLab studio.
• Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures.
• Ensure forms and literature are stocked and visible.
• Schedule and participate in networking events and studio promotions.
• Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads.
• Handle any other duties as assigned.
