Job summary

Camarillo Fitness LLC is seeking a General Manager for CamFit studios who will lead coaching, sales, and studio operations to deliver exceptional member experiences.

You will build a high-performance team, drive membership growth, manage budgets, and uphold brand standards while fostering a welcoming, energy-rich culture. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership, coaching excellence, and partnership with the Regional Business Manager to achieve revenue and service goals.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized fitness certification from an OTF-approved provider (e.g., ACSM, ACE PT/GFI, NASM, NSCA, AFAA PT/GFI)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• OTF Coach certification or ability to obtain
• 2-3 years of coaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage operations and lead a team
• Strong sales acumen and comfort managing revenue performance
• Flexible schedule availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Coaching Excellence and Class Delivery: Maintain a personal coaching minimum of 15 classes per week; deliver high-energy OTF classes; ensure quality of every class; monitor safety, form and heart rate zones.
• Intro Class Execution and Membership Conversion: Personal intro experience for first-time members; provide membership prescription; close with a clear recommendation; track intro class completion and follow-up.
• Sales Leadership and Revenue Performance: Own studio revenue including memberships and retail; execute lead generation and marketing campaigns; manage full sales process; provide weekly KPI reporting.
• Coach Development and Team Leadership: Lead coaching team; manage schedule using MindBody Online; conduct performance conversations; lead onboarding and training; payroll/timecard accuracy.
• Sales Associate Leadership: Recruit and develop sales associates; ensure targets; maintain front-of-house culture; payroll review and processing.
• Community Building and Studio Culture: Build a compelling studio community; recognize milestones; hold regular events to deepen engagement.
• Talent Pipeline and Team Building: Recruit from member base; invite high-potential members; support certifications; maintain staffing pipeline.
• Studio Cleanliness Standards: Maintain cleanliness across studio areas; enforce standards on every shift.
• Facilities, Repairs, and Preventative Maintenance: Report issues; track tickets; complete maintenance standards.
• Studio Operations: Own scheduling and readiness; manage attendance, budgets, and compliance.
