This role ensures a quality front-door experience and connects students to institutional resources. The Navigator will maintain accurate records in LEIS, ADVANSYS, Colleague, and related NCCCS systems, participate in professional development, and collaborate with the Dean, Directors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, human services, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in higher education or student services.
• Experience with student information systems (Colleague, LMS, LEIS) and maintaining accurate student records.
• Experience in CCR/Continuing Education programs, retention initiatives, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial and primary contact for prospective students through onboarding.
• Assists students in navigating admissions policies and procedures and coordinates enrollment steps.
• Provides initial and ongoing academic advising and course planning.
• Maintains and enters student records in SIS and related systems (LEIS, ADVANSYS, Colleague).
• Coordinates with departments to support student success and recruitment activities.
• Attends meetings, completes professional development, and supports college-wide initiatives.
