Job summary

Brookdale Community College seeks a Student Success Navigator to strengthen community ties and support services within Monmouth County. The role focuses on outreach, enrollment connections, and promoting Brookdale's financial aid options to ensure accessible higher education for local students and families.

The Navigator will collaborate with CCOG staff to coordinate events, provide program information, maintain records, and contribute to retention and success initiatives, including College

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years in higher education, student success, advising or related fields.
• Experience with student tracking systems, databases, or CRM platforms.
• Experience collecting, managing, and reporting student data preferred.
• Experience interacting with community organizations and social service agencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings and community events with students and families.
• Promote outreach with community stakeholders and local schools.
• Implement on-site programs targeting high school and underserved groups.
• Support Enrollment, Orientation and retention initiatives with the college.
• Support Early College High School and College Readiness Now initiatives.
• Create, package and distribute materials for recruitment and aid programs.
• Stay informed about enrollment services and financial aid opportunities.
• Attend workshops and conferences to improve outreach practices.
• Collaborate to review CCOG operations and procedures.
• Set goals and oversee methods to improve outreach and tracking.
