Job summary

Atlantic Cape Community College is seeking a Holistic Student Success Coordinator to support student success across its three campuses. You will identify personal, financial, academic, and basic needs challenges and connect students with college and community resources.

Working within the CTO 2.0 initiative, you will coordinate referrals, follow-up, outreach, and peer navigation, maintaining confidential records and partnering with advisors, faculty, and staff to boost persistence and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in student support, case management and resource navigation.
• Experience working with culturally-diverse and high-risk populations.
• Familiarity with public benefits, emergency assistance and community referral networks.
• Experience working in higher education preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students to identify personal, financial, academic, and basic needs challenges.
• Provide individualized support and connect students with resources (food, housing, transportation, childcare, healthcare, technology, mental health).
• Assist students with navigating college procedures and community services.
• Coordinate student referrals and follow-up activities to ensure services are received.
• Collaborate with advisors, One Stop Enrollment, faculty, and staff to identify needs and referrals.
• Maintain confidential student case records per FERPA and college policies.
• Develop relationships with community organizations to support referrals and access to services.
• Maintain an updated directory of resources and eligibility requirements.
• Coordinate CTO 2.0 initiatives, including outreach and program implementation.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and coordinate Peer Navigators.
• Serve on the CARE Team to assist with referrals and follow-up.
• Provide workshops on mental health awareness, stress management, and wellness.
• Assist with training and awareness activities related to recognizing needs and reducing stigma.
• Maintain program activity records and assist with reporting.
• Collaborate with Institutional Research and IT to support tracking and data collection.
• Participate in professional development and college committees.
