Iowa Western Community College Inc is seeking a Student Success Navigator to support persistence, retention, and completion through proactive outreach, case management, and coordinated intervention efforts for online learners.

The role uses data from the Early Alert System and collaborates with the Coordinator of Academic Support, faculty, advisors, and student services staff to connect students with campus resources and ensure ongoing support from identification through resolution of barriers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Administrative and/or supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated grant administration experience and reporting.
• Effective project management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and multi-task in a busy college environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse groups.

Mansioni

• Monitor and respond to student referrals from Early Alert System and other success technologies.
• Identify students at risk academically, personally, financially, or through disengagement.
• Develop timely intervention plans addressing barriers to student success.
• Provide individualized case management from identification through resolution.
• Maintain an active caseload and conduct regular follow-ups to adjust strategies.
• Document interactions and outcomes in student success systems.
• Coordinate with campus resources (academic advising, tutoring, accessibility services, counseling, financial aid).
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve retention and completion rates.
• Participate in case management meetings and student success teams.
