City Year AmeriCorps members support students across elementary to high school levels by coaching, mentoring, and promoting academic success. You will help improve attendance, behavior, and literacy and math skills, while partnering with teachers on in-class and after-school activities.

The program includes 2–4 weeks of training, a living stipend, and benefits; start date is July/August 2025 and location varies by city.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and mentoring students preferred.
• Ability to develop literacy and math skills through varied activities.
• Commitment to supporting classroom teachers and student progress.

Responsabilités

• Coach and mentor students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress within City Year data systems.
• Support extended day and after-school programs and student clubs.
• Collaborate with teachers to create engaging, safe learning spaces.
