Job summary

Northland Community and Technical College is seeking a Student Success Coach to help students transition to and navigate college through onboarding, registration assistance, and holistic support. Qualifications

• Two-years of related work experience in Education, Social Work, Public Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• Proficiency with word processing, database and web-based applications sufficient to accurately collect data and create reports.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions independently regarding workload, problems or situations.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of student development.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) to communicate with students and staff.
• Willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support to students on campus and virtually.
• Coordinate and collaborate across college units to support persistence and retention initiatives.
• Educate students on accessing resources and materials across campus.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth department operations and uphold college partnership reputation.
