City Year in Oklahoma is seeking an entry-level Student success coach and mentor to support students across elementary to high school. You will coach and mentor, track progress, and collaborate with teachers to boost academics and attendance.

City Year AmeriCorps members receive 2–4 weeks of initial training, with benefits and a living stipend. This full-time, on-site role starts in 2025 and offers meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or mentoring students is welcomed but not required.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and school staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to improve academic outcomes and attendance.
• Plan and monitor student progress and support classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers and team members to collect and review student data.
• Create a positive, engaging classroom environment in partnership with staff.
