Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps members coach and mentor students across elementary to high school, helping them achieve academic success, improve attendance, and build positive behaviors. You will plan and monitor progress and partner with teachers to support classroom instruction.

Through 2–4 weeks of training and ongoing coaching, you’ll contribute to school-wide initiatives, lead tutoring sessions, and create a safe, engaging learning environment while serving your community.

Qualifications

• Be City Year AmeriCorps member supporting students’ learning.
• Develop literacy and math skills through structured activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress.
• Create engaging and safe classroom spaces.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to improve academics.
