City Year AmeriCorps Member provides coaching and mentoring to students across elementary to high school levels to promote academic success, improved attendance, and positive behavior. You will plan and monitor student progress and assist teachers with in-class support and after-school activities.

Training is provided (2-4 weeks), and you’ll work with partner teachers and school staff to reinforce learning and behavior strategies, while gaining access to AmeriCorps benefits and education awards.

• Build literacy and math skills with varied activities.
• Create and implement behavior management strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student data and progress.
