Job summary

The role delivers proactive, relationship-based academic advising and guides students through registration, policies, and progression.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with strong communication and organizational skills; Master’s degree is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary advisor for an assigned student caseload from onboarding through graduation.
• Provides comprehensive academic advising on program requirements, course sequencing, registration and graduation planning.
• Proactively monitors student progress and conducts targeted outreach to support retention and success.
• Responds to early alerts by assessing needs and coordinating appropriate interventions.
• Partners with faculty and college stakeholders to address student concerns and support progression.
• Maintains accurate advising notes and caseload tracking in designated systems.
• Supports new-student onboarding and orientation activities.
• Provides success coaching to strengthen skills such as goal setting, time management and self-advocacy.
