Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in academic advising or student support in higher education.
  • Proficiency with advising technologies and university policies.

Responsibilities

  • Advise students on degree requirements, course selection, and graduation pathways.
  • Monitor student progress and identify barriers to timely graduation.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and student-support offices to align advising with programs.
  • Maintain accurate advising records and utilize analytics to support interventions.
  • Assist with orientation and recruitment events to promote student success.
  • Engage in program planning to improve persistence and degree completion.
