Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across elementary, middle and high school. This full-time, paid position focuses on coaching, mentoring and helping students earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors in school.

You will plan and monitor individual progress, collaborate with teachers on in-class support, and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor elementary, middle and/or high school students to earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and collaborate with teachers on in-class instruction and student assistance.
• Support academic coaching and interpersonal development for students, including 1:1 or small group work.
• Contribute to extended day and virtual programming and participate in school activities and events.
