Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps is seeking entry-level, paid, full-time Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across elementary to high school with academic achievement and attendance. Training will be provided at the start of the year, and you will work with teachers to support classroom instruction and student progress.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to serve as City Year AmeriCorps member in the 2025–2026 term.
• Commitment to coaching and mentoring students and collaboration with teachers.
• Willingness to participate in required training and continued development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group coaching to identified students.
• Support literacy and math development through varied activities.
• Assist with behavior management and classroom engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and participate in data reviews.
• Help create a safe, engaging classroom environment in partnership with staff.
• Support extended day and virtual programs, clubs, and leadership activities.
