The California State University, Sacramento is seeking a Student Services Center Specialist Intern to support enrollment, registration, financial aid, and related services. You will answer inquiries, assist with basic transactions, and refer complex issues to appropriate offices, ensuring accurate guidance for students and maintaining confidentiality.

Working under supervision, you will help centralize student services, contribute to a welcoming environment, and gain experience in customer

Competenze

Provide effective student services such as advising, tutoring, counseling, or other related duties in a college setting.
Interact professionally and communicate effectively with a diverse population of students, staff and administrators.
Effective communication skills in-person, on the phone and via online systems.
Maintain composure and professionalism while providing direct service to students, even in difficult situations.
Demonstrated thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment with diverse colleagues and constituents including faculty, students, staff, and members of the community.

Respond to common inquiries and assist with basic transactions at the Student Service Center.
Refer more complex issues to the appropriate home offices.
Provide information and referrals to other university departments as needed.
