Job summary

Tyler Junior College is seeking a Records Analyst to direct the process, maintenance, and integrity of student records, including transcripts and grades. The role reports to the Associate Registrar and collaborates with Continuing Studies, Technology Services, Enrollment Management Partners, and external clients.

The position emphasizes privacy compliance, data analysis, and timely processing of records, with a focus on accuracy and cross‑functional coordination in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or three years of relevant experience working in data assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Strong technical/computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student records—ensuring integrity, accuracy, and privacy—for prospects, students, and alumni.
• Identify and resolve issues regarding student records and participate in the Duplicate PDM Resolution Team.
• Understand and enforce Federal and State laws governing privacy of records and data maintenance.
• Prepare subpoenaed records in partnership with the legal team according to required standards.
• Provide support via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with prospects, students, and alumni.
• Oversee assigned duties within the Department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
