The role emphasizes re-engagement for students in alternative settings, court involvement, and gun-related cases, delivering advocacy and evidence-based interventions, while coordinating with district partners and providing training and consultation.

Qualifications

• KY (EPSB) credential in Social Work, School Counseling, or School Psychology or KY licensed professional credential.
• Fully KY Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker recognized by the KY Board of Licensure.
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to school staff, students, and families during transitions.
• Facilitates re-engagement for students in alternative school, court-involved, and/or gun-involved contexts.
• Advocates for students and promotes mental health wellness through evidence-based interventions.
• Coordinates with district partners to identify and case manage gun-involved or trauma-affected youth.
