Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks an Educational Advocate to lead regional efforts across King and Pierce Counties, advancing equity and preventing the opportunity gap. The role supports juveniles returning to community schools and programs, providing evidence-based interventions for successful diploma completion or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field with relevant youth services experience.
• Experience providing case management, assessments, referrals, family engagement, crisis intervention, or transition planning for youth and families.
• Proficiency with FERPA/privacy regulations and confidential records handling.
• Collaborates with schools, families, partners and public agencies to support enrollment and success.

Responsabilités

• Assess students’ needs to develop academic or vocational transition plans.
• Coordinate early warning interventions, referrals, and enrollment processes.
• Support home visits and community-based intervention services.
• Prepare program assessments, evaluations and written materials.
• Provide staff training on early warning interventions and reengagement strategies.
