Zusammenfassung

Partners for Rural Impact is seeking a Reengagement Specialist in Diboll, TX to reconnect education- and employment-disconnected youth aged 16–24. The role supports students with individualized coaching, workshops, and resource connections to boost high school completion and postsecondary transitions.

You will work with schools, families, and community organizations to strengthen engagement, persistence, and long-term success, reporting to the Director of Opportunity Youth.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in education, human services, social work, community development or related field required.
• Three years of relevant experience in youth development, student support, education, community engagement, or a related field.
• Experience collaborating with schools, families, or community organizations.

Aufgaben

• Provide individualized and small group coaching to strengthen attendance, engagement, goal setting, and overall success.
• Assist participants in developing action plans, addressing barriers, and progressing toward education, training, and employment goals.
• Conduct outreach and support participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, and ongoing engagement.
• Promote youth voice and opportunities for participants to contribute to program planning and improvement.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate workshops focused on personal development, life skills, leadership, and college/career readiness.
• Connect participants with educational pathways, workforce training, employment opportunities, and other resources.
• Monitor participant progress and provide follow-up to encourage transitions and sustained engagement.
• Collaborate with partner school districts to identify participants, coordinate services, and support student success.
