Job summary

Ombudsman Educational Services seeks an Enrollment & Retention Specialist to lead student recruitment, enrollment, engagement, and retention across assigned locations. You will build relationships with students, families, schools, and community partners to support enrollment goals and timely enrollment timelines.

You will conduct outreach meetings, manage documentation, and ensure processes align with state requirements while promoting pathways to graduation and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test.
• Associates degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Hold AZ fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain.
• AZ driver's license preferred.
• Experience in education or enrollment marketing preferred.
• Experience with diverse student needs and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative outreach strategies to increase prospective student interest and enrollment pipelines.
• Participate in school and community events to promote program awareness and drive recruitment.
• Understand admissions processes, program offerings, and graduation requirements.
• Conduct outreach to prospective students and families via visits, calls, emails, and home visits.
• Maintain databases of interested students for timely follow-up and campaigns.
• Coordinate with leadership to strengthen recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Build partnerships with alumni, parents, districts, and community partners.
• Guide applicants through enrollment and ensure timelines and procedures are followed.
• Monitor enrollment processes and respond to inquiries to maintain momentum.
• Track recruitment and retention data to inform improvements.
