Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited prelicensure nursing program with anticipated graduation within 12 months.
• Listed as Nursing Assistant I with NC DHHS.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Able to organize and prioritize patient care tasks.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Observe, collect, and document patient information and report changes to a registered nurse.
• Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Provide care/treatments per plan of care (vital signs, wound care, ambulation, etc.).
• Deliver direct personal care for activities of daily living.
• Provide indirect care (cleaning, stocking, transporting, etc.) and support to staff.
• Reinforce patient teaching and document understanding.
• Assist providers with routine exams and procedures as needed.
• In psychiatric settings, support patients and maintain safety and therapeutic milieu.
