Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of office, clerical or customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of call center experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of financial industry experience (student loans, collections or banking).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to counsel borrowers on options to manage student loans.
• Inform borrowers of responsibilities and consequences of default via phone, mail, or email.
• Maintain clear documentation of borrower accounts and contact history.
• Update loan status in the system of record and participate in process improvements.
