The University Dining team at UW-Stevens Point seeks a Student Manager for the Dreyfus University Center (DUC) Food Court. You will oversee student personnel, collaborate with management to ensure smooth operations, and train new staff in duties such as cashiering, front-of-house, production, and warewashing, while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, good interpersonal skills, strong oral communications skills, and active listening skills.
• All applicants must be at least a part-time student (enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits) and be in good academic standing (GPA 2.0+).
• Applicants must pass a criminal background check before employment.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, interview, hire and supervise student employees for Dreyfus University Center Food Court.
• Coordinate scheduling of staff for open facility hours during semesters, weekends, and breaks.
• Approve bi-weekly timesheets in PeopleSoft by deadlines.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations at probation or semester intervals.
• Plan and coordinate student orientations and ongoing trainings with Shift Leads and Floor Managers.
• Attend monthly Student Manager meetings and other required activities.
