Job summary

UW-Stevens Point is seeking a DUC Building Manager (Student Hourly) who reports to the Building Manager Student Manager and the Building Operations Manager. The role maintains security, order, and safety of the DUC and its occupants, and coordinates emergency procedures for events while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 8 weeks of starting employment must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Dreyfus University Center daily and ensure safety and security of the building and occupants.
• Use the Event Management System (EMS) to run, read, and interpret daily event reports and ensure proper setup.
• Coordinate with full-time and student staff across departments and assist as needed by staff.
• Meet with event planners and serve as the main point of contact for customers and event needs.
• Enforce building policies, manage conflicts, and provide light custodial services and setup as needed.
