Job summary

University Dining at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeks a Temporary Customer Service Representative to supervise front-of-house operations, train staff, and ensure excellent guest experiences.

You will address customer inquiries, oversee cashiering, and manage dining room setup and supplies while coordinating with full-time staff and student leaders. This is a varied schedule including weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to a wide array of people including staff and customers.
• Experience supervising a diverse staff including student employees, full- and part-time staff.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 lb regularly for stocking and storage.
• Current Serv Safe certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Guide and train staff and student workers in service standards.
• Provide exceptional service and resolve customer questions or issues.
• Organize and maintain procedures, policies, and dining room supplies.
• Process customer transactions following established policies and procedures.
