Job summary

University Dining at UW-Stevens Point seeks a Director of University Dining to provide strategic leadership for on-campus food service operations. The role oversees the production, delivery, and quality of meals across multiple locations, with a focus on customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

It requires fiscal responsibility and leadership of a twelve-person core team, including student staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale food service.
• Experience managing multi-unit operations with full financial accountability.
• Strong leadership, staffing, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
• Experience with dining technologies and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the creation of menus, pricing, and service quality goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the dining program.
• Supervise and develop a diverse staff including student employees.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Drive strategic planning and implement new dining concepts.
