Universal Technical Institute is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor in Austin, TX to guide students and families through the financial aid process. You will ensure they have what they need to secure resources and make informed decisions about their education.

Responsibilities include educating on FAFSA and scholarships, collaborating with Admissions and Student Services, and delivering fast, courteous service in a busy environment. This role offers paid training and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
• 3 years in customer service or sales; 2 years in Financial Aid preferred.
• Experience with Title IV programs preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide theWay: Support students through every step of the financial aid process.
• Deliver Excellence: Provide compassionate, clear and efficient service to help students overcome financial hurdles.
• Solve Problems: Identify and address barriers to starting or continuing school with creative solutions.
• Educate and Empower: Explain federal aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and more to help students make informed decisions.
• Collaborate for Success: Work with Admissions, Student Services and others to boost student satisfaction.
