Job summary

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. in West Jordan, UT is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to guide students through the financial aid process, ensuring they have what they need to start or continue school with clarity and care.

You will partner with Admissions and Student Services to deliver compassionate service, explain aid options, FAFSA, scholarships, and help families navigate timelines while supporting the campus community.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
Experience: 3 years in customer service or sales; 2 years in Financial Aid highly preferred.
Title IV experience: helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Guide the Way: Support students through every step of the financial aid process, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed.
Deliver Excellence: Provide exceptional service with compassion, clarity, and efficiency, helping students overcome financial hurdles.
Solve Problems: Identify and address barriers to starting or continuing school with creative and effective solutions.
Educate and Empower: Explain federal aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and more to help students make informed financial decisions.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Admissions, Student Services, and other teams to enhance student satisfaction and success.
