Universal Technical Institute is seeking a Financial Aid Manager to lead the campus Financial Aid and Default Management function, partnering with Admissions and Student Services, and aligning with the home office. The role emphasizes building a high-performing team, ensuring compliant aid processing, and driving timely student funding.

As a leader, you will recruit, coach, and develop staff, oversee budgets, and collaborate across departments to optimize student experiences and funding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and financial aid knowledge required.
• Experience managing a team in a higher education setting.
• Strong understanding of financial aid regulations and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Financial Aid function including interviewing, hiring, coaching and development.
• Monitors processes for accurate aid packages, loans and fund receipt.
• Oversees departmental budget and performance metrics.
• Collaborates with Admissions and Student Services to improve outcomes.
• Establishes a high performing, engaged team through training and performance management.
• Supports retention, customer satisfaction and show rate initiatives.
