San Joaquin Valley College Inc. is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to be the first point of contact for students, employees, and guests. You will manage front desk operations, greet visitors, give campus tours, and support admissions activities.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, organization, and coordination of meetings, events, and daily campus functions. Strong office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one situations to visitors, students and employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with students, employees, guests, and all departments; answer the phone promptly, screen and direct calls, and take messages; maintain campus check in/out listing.
• Provide engaging campus tours to admissions prospects and other guests.
• Serve as liaison for the FS department to set up remote meetings and take payments when necessary.
• Organize and maintain the appearance of internal meeting spaces, conference rooms, testing areas, entrances, and other shared areas.
• Update necessary forms, conference schedule, and telephone extension list.
• Update admissions computer applications with prospect information.
• Assist admissions prospects with completing their EP portals and proctoring admissions assessments.
• Maintain conference room calendars; assist with scheduling/coordinating appointments, events, and meetings; arrange catering.
• Receive mail and packages; sign for and record packages; sort and distribute mail; monitor postage supplies.
• Maintain the supply closet and kitchen area; order general office materials and kitchen supplies; place special orders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
