Job summary

San Joaquin Valley College Inc. in California is seeking an Enrollment Services professional to promote linear program opportunities to prospective students under the Enrollment Services Director.

You will schedule appointments, conduct program presentations, tours, placement exams discussions, and guide applicants through enrollment and financial services, with evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required and related work experience.
• Degrees from U.S. accrediting agencies preferred; foreign degrees evaluated for equivalency.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and present information clearly to applicants and employees.
• Math skills include percentages and ratios.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; familiarity with student-record software.

Responsibilities

• Meet start goals for linear start programs.
• Respond to all inquiries for assigned linear programs.
• Schedule appointments with prospective students.
• Present program information to prospective students.
• Give tours of the college to prospective students.
• Discuss placement exam results with applicants.
• Coordinate and attend linear program open houses and board meetings.
• Refer applicants to financial services and complete enrollment packages.
• Follow up on open houses, orientation, start date, and supplies.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and integrity.
