Job summary

Northeastern University in Boston seeks an Assistant Director of Student Engagement, Enrollment Management, and Retention to lead operations of the COE Tutoring Center, plan tutoring schedules, hire and train Tutors and Front Desk staff, and oversee reporting and assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in higher education, student services, or related field.
• Strong program and people management, coaching, and teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee COE Tutoring Center operations and scheduling for first-year and upper-class tutoring.
• Recruit, train, and supervise Tutors and Front Desk/Co-op staff; manage timesheets.
• Collaborate with Director on student enrollment, engagement events, and reporting.
• Coordinate COE Ambassadors program and COE Student Activities Council support.
