Job summary

The Student Assistant will process event requests, assist student leaders, and provide general office support with professional customer service across email, phone, and in-person interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable using digital platforms and learning new software (training provided).
• Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be a currently enrolled Cal Poly student in good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Process club event scheduling requests using 25Live and Cal Poly Now.
• Provide general support and resources to student organization leaders and members.
• Deliver professional customer service via email, phone, and in‑person interactions.
• Assist with office tasks and special projects as needed.
