Job summary

The California State University Maritime Academy is seeking a part‑time Clubs & Organizations Student Assistant on the Solano Campus in Vallejo. You will support the operations and services for more than 500 recognized student organizations, delivering friendly, professional service in person, by email, and by phone.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to handle a variety of administrative tasks in a student-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable using digital platforms and learning new software (training provided).
• Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process club event scheduling requests using 25Live and Cal Poly Now.
• Provide general support and resources to student organization leaders and members.
• Deliver professional customer service via email, phone, and in‑person interactions.
• Assist with office tasks and special projects as needed.
