Job summary

The University of Utah is seeking a Campus Events Assistant, a student, part-time role designed to gain hands-on experience in event planning and operations on campus.

You will assist with planning, logistics, volunteer coordination, and on-site event support, working with partners across departments and vendors to ensure successful events. This role runs with the Fall semester and may extend based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning and organizational tasks.
• Maintain event timelines, checklists, and project tracking tools.
• Support coordination with vendors, sponsors, athletes, and campus partners.
• Help manage event supplies, signage, and materials.
• Help troubleshoot issues and provide general event support.
• Help ensure a positive experience for riders, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators.
