Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time, non-exempt vehicle driver to transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires punctuality, a clean driving record, and a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith.

The driver must hold a regular license (CDL for larger vehicles as needed) and pass background and drug checks; background checks and physician statements may apply for medical conditions.

Qualifications

• Religious faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws at all times.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bus and its interior.
• Perform regular bus inspections and report any issues.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed and ensure fuel records.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering or exiting the vehicle and monitor behavior.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if approved by the Director.
