Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a clean driving record, a mature Christian faith, and adherence to LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• Requires mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver’s license; CDL with passenger endorsement for 15-passenger vehicles when required.
• CDL/license requirements depend on vehicle size; 15-passenger vans may not require a special license.
• Age between 21 and 80; documentation for drivers over 75 may be required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting; maintain calm, caring demeanor.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if directed by the Director.
