Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to make phone calls and have face-to-face interactions with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely collection of current and delinquent receivables, and accurate posting of payments.
• Collects and processes payments from students; processes deposits for university departments; prepares cash and check totals.
• Makes and accepts calls on current, past due, and delinquent accounts; completes forms and reports as needed.
• Responds to inquiries and helps ensure accuracy of student financial records and documentation.
• Verifies and closes cashier daily sessions; reconciles activity; assigns/removes financial holds as required.
• Assists customers with 1098-T tax form inquiries and related statements.
• Manage monthly payment plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
