Job summary

West Coast University is seeking a Student Account Specialist to guide students through billing, payments, and account inquiries, helping them understand costs and policies during their healthcare education journey.

You will work with Campus Vue and Image Now to post payments, process deposits, and manage collections while collaborating with campus staff to resolve student issues and ensure accurate account records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service or collections role.
• At least 1 year of experience in a student services role at a college or university.
• Requires basic knowledge of standards and processes for account collections and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary campus contact regarding student ledger accounts, tuition and fee billing and collections.
• Performs student billing and collection activities; issues receipts and maintains documentation in Campus Vue and Image Now.
• Tracks and monitors student accounts in Campus Vue and performs outreach to students regarding balances and collections policies.
• Verifies and transmits campus credit card reimbursement requests.
• Accepts and posts payments for student accounts and miscellaneous charges; prepares daily deposits and maintains documentation.
