Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Structural Project Engineer to join our renewable energy team.

You will lead structural design for foundations and ancillary structures on utility-scale wind, solar, transmission, and substation projects, delivering robust solutions with attention to safety and code compliance. The role involves preparing design reports and drawings, reviewing submittals and RFIs, supporting construction, and guiding project managers through technical decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• EIT/FE or PE required; SE registration a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Familiar with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318.
• Knowledge of foundations and connections design.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design foundations and ancillary structures for wind, solar, transmission, and substations.
• Prepare structural design reports, specifications, and plans.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and support construction activities.
• Provide technical support to multiple Westwood projects.
• Support project managers day-to-day.
