Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer to join our Renewables Division in Westminster, CO. You will contribute to structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility-scale wind and solar facilities, and prepare calculations, reports, and plans.

The role supports Engineering Leads and Project Managers across multiple Westwood projects, delivering day-to-day input, adhering to codes, and applying sound engineering judgment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET accredited B.S. program in civil/structural engineering.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic technical writing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow engineering processes.
• Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility scale wind and solar facilities.
• Prepares structural design calculations, reports, specifications, and plans
• Assists Engineering Leads and Project Managers in the drafting and design of utility scale solar projects
• Provides professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects
• Delivers day-to-day input to internal and external Project Managers
