Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer to join the Renewables Division. The role focuses on structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility-scale wind and solar facilities, with calculations, reports, and plans prepared to high standards.

You will assist Engineering Leads and Project Managers, providing technical support across multiple projects and delivering daily input to project teams while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited B.S. in civil/structural engineering.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel) and technical writing.
• Ability to apply engineering judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility-scale wind and solar facilities.
• Prepare structural design calculations, reports, specifications, and plans.
• Assist Leads and PMs in drafting and design of utility-scale solar projects.
• Provide professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects.
• Deliver day-to-day input to internal and external Project Managers.
