Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our renewable energy team in Denver, CO.

You will design foundations and related structures for wind, solar, transmission, and substations, and prepare design reports and plans. Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, supporting field activities during construction, and providing technical support across multiple projects.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree.
EIT/FE or PE required; SE registration a plus.
Minimum 2 years structural engineering work experience.
Familiar with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318.
Knowledge of foundations, connections and anchorage design.
Experience with steel member design.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to travel minimally.

Responsibilities

Structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility-scale wind, solar, transmission line, and substation projects.
Prepares or directs the structural design reports, specifications, and plans.
Review and approves project submittals, RFIs and supports field activities during construction.
Provide professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects.
Day-to-day support and input to internal and external Project Managers.
