The Structural Staff Engineer will contribute to the structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility-scale wind and solar facilities, producing calculations, reports, specifications, and plans. The role supports Engineering Leads and Project Managers on solar projects, providing professional and technical assistance across multiple Westwood projects with

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET accredited B.S. program in civil/structural engineering
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) a must
• Effective verbal communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to pay close attention to detail, follow processes, and check the quality of own work
• Ability to use sound engineering judgment
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail
• Minimal travel possible

Responsibilities

• Responsible for structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility scale wind and solar facilities
• Prepares structural design calculations, reports, specifications, and plans
• Assists Engineering Leads and Project Managers in the drafting and design of utility scale solar projects
• Provides professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects
• Delivers day-to-day support and input to internal and external Project Managers
