Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years cardiovascular experience, 5 of which are SH, EP or AV specific sales experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19. If accommodations are needed, HR should be advised.

Responsibilities

• Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives.
• Develops and implements sales strategies by determining product, competition, and pricing needs for accounts.
• Develops action plans and analyzes sales figures to help achieve sales goals.
• Identifies key accounts and decision makers in hospital settings to address clinical needs and constraints.
• Observes procedures in hospital labs and ORs to gain insight into customer needs.
• Establishes pricing packages with Abbott Vascular personnel to meet customer needs within guidelines.
• Builds relationships with hospital personnel to identify contacts in other departments for future sales.
• Provides sales support through training, tours, and product launches to customers.
• Attends trade shows and conferences to expand networks and stimulate interest.
• Educates customers on product usage with presentations and demonstrations to secure commitments.
• Maintains clinical and technical expertise via product training sessions.
• Monitors managed care trends and competitive activity to inform strategy.
