Job summary

Jacobs in the Northwest region seeks a Structural Engineering Professional Associate to join our design team. You will perform significant structural analysis and design for projects, closely collaborating with your Structural Lead, other engineers, and designers across disciplines to deliver robust, buildable concepts.

You will apply your solid foundation in structural engineering, knowledge of US codes, and hands-on design experience to develop concepts, analyze results, and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng).
• At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC.
• Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for project work as part of the design team.
• Collaborate with Structural Lead, other engineers and designers across disciplines.
• Develop design concepts and communicate structural requirements on paper and in models.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of structural work.
